The circular blade (10) is held at a carrier (11) horizontally moved by an adjusting device (12) and accommodated in a housing (13). A hand protecting element (14) is attached to the top of the housing (13). For use the blade carrier (11) is retracted into a space (15) at the housing (13) and released towards the front after use. The rear of the housing (13) is provided with an air inlet (17) in order to create excess pressure preventing dust from entering the space (15). The air is released through a gap (16) between the carrier (11) and the housing (13).
