PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-vehicle hydrogen utilization system capable of improving safety by suppressing the generation of reaction between hydrogen and air when a vehicle collides. SOLUTION: The in-vehicle hydrogen utilization system is composed of a methanol tank 1 for storing methanol as original fuel of hydrogen used as fuel for the system, a water tank 2 for storing water, a methanol reformer 10 for generating hydrogen fuel from methanol and water, an electromagnetic valve 4a provided in a passage 3a connecting the methanol tank 1 and the reformer 10, a hydrogen engine 20 for burning the hydrogen fuel supplied from the reformer 10, and an electromagnetic valve 4b provided in a passage 3b connecting the reformer 10 and the hydrogen engine 20, and an electronic control unit 30 for controlling each part of the hydrogen utilization system. The electronic control unit 30 closes the passages 3a, 3b by forcibly closing the electromagnetic valves 4a, 4b on the basis of a detection signal from an impact sensor 40 when the collision of a vehicle occurs.
