PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL element which does not have light emission unevenness in pixels or light emission unevenness among the pixels due to flowing-in of ink which has been supplied to barrier ribs existing between patternized first electrodes into partitioned first electrodes when either one of organic light-emitting medium layers is formed by a wet method after a forming material is formed to produce the ink in the organic electroluminescent element equipped with a substrate, the first electrode patternized on this substrate, the organic light-emitting medium layer including an organic light-emitting layer on the first electrode, and a second electrode installed so as to be opposed to the first electrode by pinching the organic light-emitting medium layer.
