<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a third slide pin, in a compact manner, for preventing abnormal sound and judder caused when braking by a brake and dragging caused when releasing the brake. <P>SOLUTION: In this caliper floating type disc brake for supporting a caliper on a carrier movably by a first slide pin and a second slide pin arranged on an inner side in the axial direction of a disc rotor and the third slide pin 15 arranged on an outer side, a mounting hole in which the third slide pin 15 is screw-fitted and a slide hole in which the third slide pin 15 slides are provided in the caliper 2 and an outer beam 14 of the carrier, respectively, the third slide pin 15 is composed of a mounting part having a male screw screw-fitted into the mounting hole of the caliper and a sliding part inserted into the slide hole of the outer beam of the carrier, a tightening-in part 17 tightened by a tool and having a recessed part 17a is formed at a tip of the sliding part, and the outer periphery of the tightening-in part 17 slides into the slide hole as a part of the sliding part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
