PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively obtain an exposure head which allows exposure with high contrast using a micro lens array without a light shielding film. SOLUTION: In the exposure head having a spatial light modulation element 50 such as a DMD constituted by two-dimensionally arranging many pixel parts for modulating radiated light, respectively, a light source 66 which irradiates the spatial light modulation element 50 with light, an image formation optical system 51 which receives light passing through each pixel part of the spatial light modulation element 50 to form images of the pixel parts and the micro lens array 55 constituted by arranging micro lenses 55a, which condenses light beams from respective pixel parts of the spatial light modulation element 50 like an array, respectively, optical structure for diverging or diffusing transmitted light is formed in optical transmission areas except the micro lenses 55a of the micro lens array 55.
