PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the influence of noise mixing with a detection signal obtained from an electrode. SOLUTION: The electromagnetic flowmeter comprises a noise detection section 9A for detecting noise mixing with an AC flow signal 1S from an HPF 1 and a cutoff switch 9 for cutting off the AC flow signal 1S from the HPF 1, wherein the AC flow signal 1S is cut off by the cutoff switch 9 on the basis of a noise detection signal 2G from the noise detection section 9A.
