PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet processing device reducing frequency of alarm processing attendant on determination of full-loading without causing increase of the number of parts and enlargement of the whole device and capable of increasing the number of sheets capable of being continuously delivered and continuously loaded. SOLUTION: When the loaded number of sheets of a lower tray 104 exceeds 1,700 regardless of the loaded number of sheets of an upper tray 103, delivery to the upper tray 103 is forbidden, thereby, the upper tray 103 does not come to a sheet receiving position below a pair of delivery rollers. Further, loading up to 2,450 sheets causing interference if the upper tray 103 comes to the sheet receiving position below the pair of delivery rollers 102, namely, additional loading of 750 sheets exceeding usual full-loading is allowed for the lower tray 104. Thereby, the lower tray 104 can be continuously operated and continuously loaded without causing the alarm processing attendant on determination of full-loading if the loading is up to 2,450 sheets.
