A wireless communication media processing apparatus wherein the installation features of the apparatus are not limited and, in particular, are not affected by metallic structures; the resonance frequency and impedance of an antenna need not be adjusted; the convenience and expandability in the installation of the apparatus are excellent; and wherein the apparatus is highly resistant to ambient unwanted noise and hence has a stable performance. With respect to a feed loop antenna unit, a parasitic loop antenna is arranged in a doughnut shape in such a manner that it surrounds a feed loop antenna in aproximately the same plane. This arrangement can suppress the influence, which is related to the antenna characteristic, of a parasitic loop antenna unit on the feed loop antenna unit when the parasitic loop antenna unit is arranged in a linear, radial or array fashion such that it is adjacent to the feed loop antenna unit Accordingly, this arrangement can eliminate the necessity of antenna adjustment of the feed loop antenna unit when extending the parasitic loop antenna unit or providing an additional parasitic loop antenna unit. |
