PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately sense the temperature of a pot put on a top plate in an induction heating cooker. SOLUTION: This induction heating cooker comprises a heating coil 6 for heating the pot, a top plate 7 for putting the pot over a heating coil 6, an infrared sensor 2 which is set under the top plate 7 and detects infrared-rays emitted from the bottom of the pot, a temperature calculating means 4 for calculating the temperature at the bottom of the pot by the output from the infrared sensor 2, and a control means 5 for controlling power supplied to the heating coil 6 depending on the output from the temperature calculating means 4. The infrared sensor 2 is provided so that a visual field for effectively receiving infrared-rays is inside the internal diameter of the heating coil 6. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
