The method for treating the specific mycotic and nonspecific urethroprostatitis provides for the exposure of urethra to the current and the heat. The sinus-modulated currents are used in the rectified mode with the current of 5 mA, the modulation depth of 50-75 %, the modulation frequency of 30 Hz, the pause dispatch of 2-3 s, and the local endourethral heating above + 42 DEGREE C. In addition, the manual massage of urethra is performed. The device for treating the specific mycotic and nonspecific urethroprostatitis contains the cylindrical case designed as catheter providing for the exposure of urethra to the current and the heat. The heating element in the shape of the spiral is installed inside the device. Proximally, the catheter contains an active electrode designed as the conical tip with the rounded apex. The active electrode is made as the solid structure and connected with the generator of the sinus-modulated pulses "Amplipulse-5". The cylindrical case of the device is made of the low-density polyethylene. The heating spiral is made of nichrome covered by thermoresistant varnish.
