The proposed method for reprocessing radioactive waste, specifically water contaminated with radionuclides, consists in using fine composite absorbentcontaining clinoptilolite and bentonite modified by sodium carbonate, with the ratio of (8,5 - 9,5):1 between the components, separating radioactive slurry, and annealing the slurry at a temperature 800 ... 900 ?C for 30 ... 60 minutes. The advantage of the proposed method is decrease of costs associated with reprocessing of radioactive waste.
