The invention is intended for connection and disconnection of compartment of rocket-carriers and space apparatuses, and for fixation of rockets on launching units. Quick-split mechanism for connection and separation of rotary shell joints consists of two rotary shells equipped with flanges with conical outer surface fixed to each other by means of separating bandage formed by two half-rings with conical inner surface. At that the half-rings of the bandage have diameter of inner conical surface in which cylindrical bore is provided that is larger than diameter of the outer surface of flanges, and at the ends of the half-rings as one part with those fittings are provided tightened to each other by means of two pyro-locks-pushers and coupling nuts with washers, at that pyro-locks-pushers are installed in tangent positions with respect to the outer surface of rotary shells, and the bodies of the pyro-locks-pushers and compression nuts with washers are fixed in fittings, for instance by means of cups screwed to threaded openings in fittings. The invention provides reliable, without formation of scrap, separation of compartments, without collision, with minimal effect of vibro-impact load on elements of joint structure and spacecraft.
