PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to remove noise from an input image more easily than heretofore. SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus 1 includes; a noise image detection part 103 which detects images of noise included in an original image GA0; a screen display processing part 102 which displays one or more divided images designated by the user, out of a plurality of divided images resulting from dividing the original image GA0, together with marks indicating positions of noise images which are included in the designated divided images, out of noise images Gz being the images of noise detected by the noise image detection part 103; a noise editing window WN2 which makes the user select noise images erroneously detected as images of noise by the noise image detection part 103, out of the noise images Gz included in the displayed divided images; and an input image correction part 107 which generates a corrected image GA2 being an image resulting from removing noise images other than those selected through the noise editing window WN2, out of the noise images Gz from the original image GA0.
