<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moisturizer, cell activator or antioxidant capable of widely applicable in the fields of a skin lotion, beverage and food or the like by finding out an active ingredient having an excellent moisturizing, cell activation, antioxidation effect or the like. <P>SOLUTION: This moisturizer, cell activator or antioxidant is provided by using an extract of a plant belonging to Eupteleaceae having the excellent moisturizing, cell activation or antioxidation effect.
