PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for preventing degradation of appearance quality caused by generation of a gap between a table top and an underside of a cushion which is attached near the central part of a stand base constituting a stand of a thin display device such as a liquid crystal TV set and has a small projection from the underside of the stand base. SOLUTION: Near the central part of the stand base underside on which a mounting surface such as the stand base underside of the display device and the table top is abutted, the cushion formed by laminating a plurality of members having different stiffness, a cushion formed so that the underside and top face of the cushion has an inclination, or a cushion with linear or dotted projections formed on the underside is arranged, and in the peripheral part of the stand base, a cushion with relatively higher stiffness is arranged.
