PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a warp knitted fabric which has excellent stretchability and exhibits excellent moisture retaining property or excellent air permeability depending on circumstances, functions as a wear having excellent moisture retaining property or a wear having excellent air permeability and provides an inner wear, a sport wear, etc., having excellent wearing comfortableness. SOLUTION: The stretchable warp knitted fabric is knitted from a stretch yarn and a non-stretch yarn, has a mesh part which is formed from a non-stretch yarn and in which the sinker loop of a stretch yarn crosses in the wale direction, the length of the mesh part in the warp direction is 3-10 courses and the number of the sinker loops crossing the mesh part is 2-12 per mesh part.
