A sliding bearing includes, on its inner periphery, a metal part formed by electroforming and an oil feeding mechanism for supplying oil into the clearances of the bearing. Since the oil retained in the oil feeding mechanism is supplied into the clearances of the bearing, the lubricity of the bearing on a shaft member is improved by oil film formed in the clearances of the bearing. As a result, the occurrence of noise due to defective lubrication and the wear of members due to the slidable contact of the bearing on the shaft member can be avoided.
