<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure speed stability when the vehicle travels at a constant speed by suppressing overshoot quantity when a vehicle goes down a slope in auto-cruise traveling. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicle comprises a main braking device B4, a plurality of auxiliary braking devices B1 to B3, a fuel injection control means 11, a constant speed travel control means 10 for making the fuel injection control means 11 control fuel injection quantity to control constant speed travel, and for controlling the operations of the main braking device B4 and the plurality of auxiliary braking devices B1 to B3, a speed detecting means 12 and an engine load detecting means 13. When an actual speed exceeds a target speed when the vehicle goes down a slope, the constant speed travel control means 10 controls the auxiliary braking device B1 whose braking capability is the lowest to operate at first, and when the actual speed still exceeds the target speed, the constant speed travel control means 10 adds the auxiliary braking devices B1 to B3 to be operated in the order of the auxiliary braking device whose braking capability is low, and adds the main braking device B4 to the braking device to be operated at last. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
