<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a solenoid capable of directly connecting a coil to a circuit board. <P>SOLUTION: In this solenoid 10, the coil 60 is supported in such a way that both ends of a conductor wire 64 are fixed on the circuit board 66 by solder etc., and the circuit 66 is supported on a case 14 by being fixed on a supporting piece 70 by fixing screws 68. On the contrary, an iron core 82 is fixed on a yoke 44, and the yoke 44 is clamped and fixed by a plate spring 84 and a clamping piece 88. Therefore, it is sufficient for the circuit board 66 and a junction portion between the conductor wire 64 and the circuit board 66 to have mechanical strength enough to support the coil 60, and this enables to cause the circuit board 66 attached on the case 14 to support the coil 60. Further, if an error is generated in the relative position relation between the coil 60 and the yoke 44, gaps D1, D2 and D3 set in advance between the yoke 44 and the coil 60 absorb the error.
