PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coupling structure which simplifies the coupling operation. SOLUTION: In the coupling structure of pipes 20, 30, the inserting portion 21 of a male pipe 20 is inserted into the opening portion 31 of a female pipe 30, the boss 23 of the male pipe 20 is allowed to go into the guide groove 32 of the female pipe 30, the boss 23 is engaged into an engaging groove 33 from the guide groove 32 of the female pipe 30 by forwardly rotating the male pipe 20 to make it possible to couple both the pipe 20, 30, a lock ring 40 is moved in an axial direction to position a boss piece like stopper 41 outside of the crossing portion of the guide groove 32 and the engaging groove 33, the boss 23 of the male pipe 20 is allowed to escape from the engaging groove 33 to the guide groove 32 by rearwardly rotating the male pipe 20 to make it possible to draw out the inserting portion 21 of the male pipe 20 from the opening portion 31 of the female pipe 30 while allowing the boss 23 to go out from the guide groove 32.
