<p>The present invention relates to a thermostatic regulator of combustion air amount, comprising a heat-conducting casing (1) being detachably coupled with a regulator body (2). A control shank (4), being permanently pressed against a thermostatic element (3) contained within the casing, is mounted slidably in the casing (1) and the regulator body (2) interior. A radial arm (5), serving for attachment of a lever (6) with a control chain, reaches into the regulator body (2). Swinging motion of said arm (5) is derived from sliding motion of the control shank (4). In the thermostatic element (3) or between the thermostatic element (3) and the casing (1), there is arranged an electric heating body (7) adapted to connection to a temperature control device of the heating body (7) in dependence on a required temperature of the heating system discharge water or air. Pressure of the control shank (4) against the thermostatic element (3) is mediated by a compression spring (8) arranged within the casing (1) and acting against pressure of a piston (9) bearing by its finger (14) against a helix of a regulator control knob (10) attached to the control shank (4). The electric heating body (7) is connected to a control device (11) being selected from the group consisting of a room thermostat, manually operated voltage source for continuous adjustment of a boiler discharge water or air temperature drop. The control device (11) can be also represented by an electronic controller with continuous or step control of output voltage.</p> |
