<p>A cleaning sponge made up of one piece of sponge/foam in the shape of a rectangle [parallelepiped] or some similar shape, that is encompassed by a dual flat wire mesh and secured at least at two ends. The mesh that encompasses the sponge can have two sides with different surfaces. The one side may be made of dual flat wire mesh and the other may be made of dual softer strands that form a mesh. The advantages of this invention are that it combines the capability of the sponge to hold water and cleaning agents with the strength of the flat wire mesh to provide great scouring abilities, along with a softer synthetic mesh that can be used on more delicate surfaces.</p> |
