SPEECH GUIDANCE GENERATING DEVICE AND METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speech guidance generating device and a speech guidance generating method that generate a number speech having natural intonation.

SOLUTION: The speech guidance generating device is equipped with: an extracting means of extracting only a number string from a generation indication when a speech guidance includes the number string; a number pattern storage section which stores a plurality of number patterns each comprising at least one number; a decision means of deciding whether the number string includes at least one of the number patterns; an intonation-added number data generating means of generating number data with intonation by adding intonation of at least one number pattern to the number string when the decision means decides that the number string includes at least one of the number patterns; and a speech guidance generating means of generating as a speech guidance a corrected speech guidance by combining the intonation-added number speech data to speech data of a portion of the speech guidance other than numbers.
