<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance utilization efficiency of light as much as possible and to easily and surely equalize outgoing light luminance. <P>SOLUTION: LEDs 6 are arranged along an incident surface 5 of a light guide plate 4. A light diffusion member 11 having a shape capable of covering the whole of an effective light emission area of the light guide plate 4 is arranged on the side of an emission surface 10 of the light guide plate 4. A first shade area 20 formed of a light-absorbing shade member is formed in areas along outer edges 14-17 of the light diffusion member 11 on at least either of front and back principal surfaces of the light diffusion member 11. Second shade areas 24 each formed of a light-absorbing shade member and formed by connecting them to the first shade area 20 so as to project to the inside direction thereof are formed at positions of the first shade area 20 corresponding to the LEDs 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
