<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vessel for a microwave oven at a low cost which needs neither a special member nor a special manufacturing process, has a favorable airtightness between a vessel main body and a cover, prevents the vessel from being fractured during manufacture, delivery or the like, and gets the cover exactly automatically opened by an increase in inner pressure of the vessel during heating and cooking by the microwave oven. <P>SOLUTION: The vessel for the microwave oven comprises a synthetic resin-made vessel main body having a flange and a synthetic resin-made cover the circumference of which is heat-sealed to the flange. One end of an opening strip mounted on the surface of the cover so that it crosses the cover is fixed to the cover at a part of the vessel to serve as an opening, and the other end is fixed to the position opposing to the part of the vessel to serve as the opening. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
