PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reliability even with respect to an unmanned continual test which lasts for many hours. SOLUTION: Coins are fed to a coin charge port 2 of a coin processor 1, a coin holder 11 for collecting coins from a coin ejection port 3 is moved back and forth between a lower part guide 15 and an upper part guide 14 by a ascent and descent means 13. When the coin holder 11 ascends to an ascent limit, an engagement pin 33 of a first shutter 30 of the coin holder 11 is engaged with an engagement surface of the upper part guide 14, and the first shutter 30 rotates to release an opening part of the coin holder 11. When the coin holder 11 descends to a descent limit, the engagement pin 33 of the first shutter 30 presses down the second shutter 56 of the lower part guide 15 and the lower part guide 15 releases a coin passage.
