PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrying machine for carrying an article on a base with fluid pressure mainly using compressed air. SOLUTION: A carried article residing plate 2 is arranged on an upper opening face 1<SB>1</SB>of a fluid supply chamber 8 in a sealed box 1 and set by shaping frame 3. The plate 2 is shaped with a plurality of split plates 2<SB>1</SB>-2<SB>n</SB>closely contacting one another, and inclined recessed grooves 5 are shaped in the split plates 21-2n before closely contacting one another.
