PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information display device for a vehicle capable of easily selecting each function of a plurality of on-vehicle equipments and operating them. SOLUTION: The present invention relates to the information display device (1) for the vehicle for integrally performing operation of the plurality of on-vehicle equipments and information display. The device has a first display (8) for presenting a plurality of icons to a driver; an icon display means (30) for displaying the first kind of icon having an operation menu of low rank hierachy and the second kind of icon not having the low rank hierachy; a cursor display means (32) for displaying a cursor (17) for instructing that which icon is selected at present; an operation part for successively changing a position of the cursor; a low rank menu display means (34) for automatically displaying the operation menu of the low rank hierachy when the cursor is positioned at the first kind of icon; and a stand-by position movement means (36) for automatically transferring the cursor to the predetermined second kind of icon according to the predetermined condition.
