PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hemming die with which biting is prevented from generating. SOLUTION: This hemming die is provided with a movable die 5 on a die base 3 freely vertically movably and a punch 13 which can be engaged to and disengaged from an acute V-groove 7 which is formed on the top of the movable die 5, the punch 13 is constituted so that, when the punch 13 is engaged to the V-groove 7, the tip part 13E of the punch 13 is brought into contact with the bottom part 19 of a clearance groove 17 which is formed in the bottom part of the V-groove 17 and the bottom part 19 of the V-groove 7 is formed into a concave curved surface. They are constituted so as to have fine clearances C between the slopes 15 of the V-groove 7 and the slopes 13F of the punch 13 when the tip part 13E of the punch 13 is brought into contact with the bottom part 19 of the V-groove 7.
