PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information display system for obtaining information on traffic congestion-predicted routes before driving a car to enable comfortable travel. SOLUTION: This system comprises a route search processing means 92 for searching routes from place of departure to destination, a predicted private car position calculation processing means for calculating predicted private car position on the searched route, and a display processing means 94 for displaying both the above searched route and scale indicating time on display section. If the time displayed on the scale is selected, the display processing means 94 displays the above predicted private car position at the selected time on the above searched route. When the scale indicating time together with the searched route are displayed and then the time displayed on the above scale is selected, the above predicted private car position at the selected time is displayed.
