PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a temperature of drained surplus humidifying water which is not used for humidifying air and discharged to the outside of the apparatus is high and sometimes exceeds a heat-resistant temperature to destroy a bathroom in the case of draining to a drain pan etc. of the bathroom, in a sauna apparatus for making a mist sauna space by heating and humidifying the air in the bathroom. SOLUTION: At a surplus humidifying water draining path 114 in the sauna apparatus 101, a drain temperature detection sensor 2 and a drain warming and cooling means 1 are provided. Then, hot surplus humidifying water is cooled and an operating state of the sauna apparatus 101 is changed based on the temperature detected by the sensor 2 to control the temperature of the surplus humidifying water discharged to the outside of the sauna apparatus 101 within a prescribed range to prevent breakage of the drain pan etc. in the bathroom and to control the temperature and humidity in the bathroom within a prescribed range by simple constitution.
