PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system capable of performing correction processing in a prescribed region without using any test patterns. SOLUTION: In an image-forming device 10, an image processing unit 20 receives an input image in a PDL format for analyzing PDL, and detects an image portion that is colored with the same color and the same density, is within a prescribed range or larger in the input image for registering as registration information. The image processing unit 20 uses stored correction data for performing prescribed correction processing to an image for forming the corrected image on a recording paper sheet. The image on the recording paper sheet is read by an image detection sensor 22 and is inputted into the image processing unit 20. The image processing unit 20 compares the original input image with the read one for detecting difference in the image portion of the registration information. When the difference exceeds a threshold, the image processing unit 20 updates the correction data stored based on the difference. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
