PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device for restricting deterioration of quality of a reproducing motion picture resulting from motion of an imaging face. SOLUTION: Two or more field images are acquired by repeating imaging process and written in SDRAM 26. A video encoder 28 extracts a partial objective field image of one field belonging to the extraction area of the SDRAM 26, and an LCD monitor 30 reproduces a motion picture, based on the extracted partial objective field image. A flag is set as "0" by CPU 32 every time the imaging process is implemented. Whether the flag indicates "0" or not is determined by the CPU 32 every time the video encoder 28 performs the extraction process of one field. If the determined result is affirmative, the extraction area is set as a reference position by the CPU 32. The CPU 32 sets the flag as "1" every time the extraction area is set at the reference position. If the determined result is negative, the extraction area is moved to the direction reverse to the movement direction of an image pick-up face 14f by the CPU 32. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
