PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply branch and connect a branch cable from/to a main cable. SOLUTION: A crimp terminal 10 is composed by integrally including a base bottom part 12 having a core crimp piece 13 capable of connecting a cable thereto and a covering crimp piece 14, and a contact part 20. The contact part 20 comprises a tubular fitting part 21 and a tongue-like engagement piece 22 formed by projecting a part of a side wall of the tubular fitting part 21 outward nearly in an L-shaped form and extending nearly in parallel with the tubular fitting part 21. The crimp terminal 10 is connected to a crimp terminal 30 by longitudinally fitting and connecting the tubular fitting part 22 to a tongue-like engagement piece 32 of the crimp terminal 30 having the same shape as that of the crimp terminal 10. An energization part 25 and a pair of lock pieces 24, 24 extending toward the energization part 25 are formed on the tubular fitting part 21, and the crimp piece 10 is connected to the crimp piece 30 in the state where the energization part 25 and the lock pieces 24, 24 catch the tongue-like engagement piece 32 of the crimp terminal 30 received in a fitting space 27 by elastic energization of the energization part 25.
