PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate addition of positional information to image data obtained by photographing. SOLUTION: The positional data, in which time and positions are made to relate to each other, are prepared, for example, every five minutes and written into an internal memory as table data in a car navigation device installed to a vehicle such as an automobile. When a digital camera photographing a plurality of times is connected to the car navigation device, time information showing the time when connected last is transmitted from the digital camera to the car navigation device. In response to that, positional data written after the time when connected last is transmitted from the car navigation device to the digital camera. Then, a photographed place is specified from time of positional data and photographed-time information of the image data having no addition of photographed-position data on the basis of the positional data.
