PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold for a worm gear by which a high accuracy worm gear can be formed when manufacturing the worm gear of a material such as a plastic. SOLUTION: The mold for the worm gear comprises an upper lid portion 2 having a small pouring-in opening 2c for pouring a molten plastic which becomes the raw material of the worm gear in the center of the same, a pouring-in portion pouring the plastic coming through the upper lid portion 2 while widening the same in a widening portion 3d, a mold portion 4 molding and solidifying the plastic flowing through the pouring-in portion according to the shape of an electroformed body 4e constituted by transferring the teeth shape of the worm gear, a middle laying portion 5 supporting the mold portion 4 from under the same, an upward pushing portion 6 removing the worm gear from the mold portion 4 while upward pushing a piston 6b from under the middle laying portion 5, and a supporting shaft portion 7 passing the center from the mold portion 4 to the upward pushing portion 6 and having a supporting shaft 7b fixing the center of the worm gear and a base 7a supporting the whole from under the same.
