PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door controlling device for an elevator accurately controlling the speed of an electric motor to open/close a car door of the elevator without requiring a speed detector such as an encoder. SOLUTION: A speed estimating part 15 to estimate the speed of the electric motor 4 is provided. Based on a voltage value Vfd and an electric current value Ifb of the electric motor 4 and circuit constant information set by an electric motor constant setting part 16, the speed estimating part 15 estimates the speed of the electric motor 4. The circuit constant information indicates circuit characteristics of the electric motor 4, and includes a resistance value R, an inductance value L and an induction voltage constant K. This estimated speed Nest is given to an integration computing unit 17 and a difference unit D3. Due to this configuration, opening/closing operation of the car door is performed by accurately controlling the speed of the electric motor 4, without requiring a speed detector such as an encoder.
