PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiper which smoothly moves a wiping member while enhancing a cleaning effect of the wiping member, and also to provide a liquid injection apparatus with the wiper. SOLUTION: The wiper 26 is provided in an inkjet printer as a liquid injection apparatus having a recording head 19 injecting ink from nozzles 20. The wiper 26 is provided with: the wiper member 34 wiping the nozzle forming surface 19a of the recording head 19; and a cleaning member 35 always slide-contacting with the wiping member 34 and wiping ink attached to the right side surface 34b of the wiping member. The cleaning member 35 is provided with a slit to reduce a sliding resistance to the wiping member 34 at a part 35a slide-contacting with the wiping member 34 in the cleaning member 35.
