<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm the state of battery consumption while maintaining the thinning of a portable device. <P>SOLUTION: As shown in Fig. 3, the portable device in which an electronic circuit that includes a receiving circuit and is connected to antennae 16 to 18, 19 is placed in a housing 30, and a battery 41 for supplying operating electric power to the electronic circuit is housed detachably in the housing 30. In the portable device, when the battery 41 is replaced, the receiving circuit is turned on by using a new battery 41 as an electric source. When the electronic circuit is operable by a voltage applied by the new battery 41 with the receiving circuit being in an on-state, a notification means 35 is allowed to operate for a given period of time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
