PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chassis frame and body construction capable of restraining growth of a step difference due to a floor side member on a floor surface of a car room without using a spacer even in extending the floor side member on the vehicle cabin side of a floor panel and arranging a member to reinforce the floor side member at an effective position. SOLUTION: This chassis frame and body construction is constituted by extending the floor side member 15 forming a closed cross-section on the side of the car room 38 of the floor panel 11 constituting the floor surface 39 of the car room 38along the longitudinal direction of the vehicle 10. A groove part 33 projected toward the outside of the car room 38 and extending along the longitudinal direction of the vehicle 10 is provided on the floor panel 11, and the floor side member 15 is stored inside of the groove part 33.
