GAS GENERATOR

A gas generator (1A) which has: an ignition chamber (13) in which an ignition device (12) and an ignition charge (14) have been charged; a first combustion chamber (23) and a second combustion chamber (33) in which gas generates (24 and 34) have been respectively charged; a first fire transfer passageway (15) connecting the ignition chamber (13) to the first combustion chamber (23); and second fire transfer passageways (16) connecting the ignition chamber (13) to the second combustion chamber (33). The first fire transfer passageway (15) and the second fire transfer passageways (16) have been disposed parallel and eccentrically so that the center line (15a) of the first fire transfer passageway (15) and the center line (16a) of each second fire transfer passageway (16) do not lie on the same line. In this gas generator, which has such constitution including two or more gas output parts operated by one ignition device, the outputs of the gas output parts are substantially or completely independent of each other.
