A lighting device in which a light bulb is connected to a reflection lamp shade through an adapter. The reflection lamp shade has a near-distance lighting reflective surface the lighting distance of which becomes relatively short inward and a far-distance lighting reflective surface the lighting distance of which becomes relatively long in vertical positions. The adapter enables the position of the light bulb to be varied vertically. Especially, the near-distance lighting reflective surface is disposed above the reflection lamp shade; the far-distance lighting reflective surface is disposed below the reflection lamp shade. The cross section of the near-distance lighting reflective surface is a polygon; that of the far-distance lighting reflective surface is an arc. These near- and far-distances lighting reflective surfaces are integrally and continuously formed.
