<p>A light division device (100) includes a light amplification unit (101) for amplifying an optical signal multiplexed by a light multiplex device and a branching unit (102) for branching the amplified optical signal. The branched optical signal is fed to light gates (104-107) and an FSYN synchronization circuit (103). According to a fixed pattern for synchronization contained in the optical signal, the FSYN synchronization circuit (103) switches between the light gates (104-107) and demultiplexes the multiplexed optical signal. Pulse length increasing units (108-111) increases a pulse width of each of the optical signals separated.</p> |
