PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an organic semiconductor film to be formed by coating an organic semiconductor material having improved solvent solubility, to provide an organic semiconductor device and an organic thin-film transistor, having high carrier mobility, by using the obtained organic semiconductor film, and to provide an organic EL element having the device or the transistor. SOLUTION: The organic semiconductor material contains a compound expressed by an expression (1). In the expression (1), A indicates a fused aromatic hydrocarbon ring or fused aromatic heterocycle, where at least two rings are condensed, and Ar<SB>1</SB>-Ar<SB>4</SB>indicate an aromatic hydrocarbon ring or aromatic heterocycle each; R<SB>1</SB>-R<SB>8</SB>indicate a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, or substituent each, or may be connected together to form a ring; n indicates 0 or 1; a and b indicate an integer of 0-3 each; and a and b satisfy 1≤(a+b).
