SOLUTION: This operation support method and system using a computer use "data for decision" acquired by integrating harmful insect occurrence information acquired from adhesive sheets T<SB>1</SB>, T<SB>2</SB>, and T<SB>3</SB>for catching harmful insects preliminarily set at predetermined places in automatic cup type beverage vending machines V<SB>1</SB>, V<SB>2</SB>, and V<SB>3</SB>into data, and execute at least procedures for selecting a harmful insect terminating operation suitable for the automatic cup type beverage vending machines V<SB>1</SB>, V<SB>2</SB>and V<SB>3</SB>from among the classification information group of the harmful insect driving operation preliminarily stored in a computer 1 in a summarization center A.
