<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a medical device and an audio-visual (AV) device easily and inexpensively by a single controller. <P>SOLUTION: A switcher 110 switches signals m1 and m2, and signals a1 and a2, by a switching signal S from a medical device side controller 220, and outputs a signal to a control panel 21. Information is exchanged between the medical device side controller 220 and an AV device side controller 221 via a signal line 222.
