Dual substrate organic electroluminescent display

The organic electroluminescent diode comprises a transparent anode 532 formed on a first substrate 501. The drain of a p-type driver TFT disposed on a second substrate 100 is connected to the anode by metallic wiring layer 113. The metal used for the wiring layer 113 is the same as the metal used for the cathode 538 of the organic electroluminescent device and in use light is emitted through the transparent substrate 501.
