The telescopic suction tube has the axially sliding inner telescopic tube (12) provided with ratchet notches (13), engaged by a corresponding ratchet element (23), provided by a tongue (19) which fits into a seating (18) in a guide sleeve (15) fitted to the outer telescopic tube (11), with at least part of the axial length of the guide sleeve located within the outer telescopic tube.
