A cladding sheet is formed from a set substrate zone provided by a polymeric binder system and an aggregate embedded in the binder system and at least one continuous exterior zone of at least one set of polymeric material through which some of the aggregate behind the exterior layer can be seen. The method includes laying up, in a mould, a polymeric system capable of set to define the exterior zone, upon at least a partial set of the polymeric system to define the exterior zone, laying up over the exterior zone layers (in any suitable order) and/or a mix of (a) an aggregate, and (b) a polymeric binder system, and removing the sheet from the mould upon at least a substantial set of both zones.
