#CMT# #/CMT# The heater consists of an infra-red emitter (2) over a table (1) with a mattress (11) between side (10) and end (9) supports, mounted on a mobile frame (3) with wheels (4). The illuminating power produced by the emitter and its surface is designed to be sufficient to warm the body, radiating power at different wavelengths to limit dehydration. The emitter surface is selected so that radiant energy is emitted at a wavelength spectrum of between 3.5 and 5.5 micrometres between two peaks of water absorption.
